Critique of the Week
I totally didn't expect this...i'm kind of jumping up and down now that LA Bitter Lemons has cited me for the Critique of the Week for my review of Pulp Shakespeare. My very first one since writing the start of my review writing in 2010.

Seven Days of Hunger
One of my new #foodiechats friends just sent this video over to me. It's her new venture into the food arena. The Ice Bucket Challenge on Poverty. Make 3 days of food last for 7 days. Try living this way... Please watch and share. Thanks!

Everything has changed!
So if you've been looking for me or accidentally came across this page, you might be wondering what's happened since April 2012? Well a lot! Mostly, I've been focused on my regular arts, culture, food, fashion blog Gia On The Move.
I've been writing as a theatre critic, a food critic, a regular LA blogger and submitting fun stories to other sites. I've plunged my toes into the publishing realm and well, it's really been quite a trip this year with everything that's come up. I even got the opportunity to interview a few celebs including Jessica Gomez and Kristi Yamaguchi. Hanging out with makeup impressario Napoleon Perdis was pretty divine too. (I got some great tips!) They were awesome!
I'll try to make it back here occasionally. But if you happen to stop by, click the link above and visit the regular blog for below and above the radar stories, contests, give aways, reviews and more. Hopefully you'll discover something you like and stick around.
Cheers!

A Lot Can Happen in a Year

Just checking back in to this forum after, well, a year I guess. It's been a long and interesting journey so far with my main blog GiaOnTheMove.com where most of my major stories are being told these days. What began as an off-shoot place to talk about public relations and clients has now become a bona fide arts & culture, fashion, food and media center that has given me the opportunity to change and shift and grow in ways I never imagined. There is something to be said for just putting one foot in front of the other and allowing an idea to form itself rather than creating planned goals, pitching, selling, intentionally shaping and sometime, in other words, forcing. "Imagine if I actually knew what I was doing." It makes me giggle. Having a voice, something to say and people out there willing to listen and even looking forward to hearing.
